What if you could build your own character for university and beyond? In this interactive session, you’ll work in a team to design a character by identifying strengths, transferable skills, personal values, and career “superpowers.” Along the way, you will learn how to recognize your own strengths, connect your interests to potential academic and career paths, and build meaningful experiences during your degree. You’ll also gain practical strategies to translate those experiences into language for resumes, interviews, and future opportunities.
By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of how to intentionally develop your personal and professional identity, and may uncover a few hidden abilities along the way.
What to expect: You can expect a mixture of lecture style and interactive components. You will be seated in a classroom with a presenter at the front, and will also work in small groups with your peers.
Who can attend: Everyone!
